Allocation & Lettings Officer to join our team on a 9-month contract, helping individuals and families find their perfect home!




* Location: St Helens (with hybrid working after training)
* Contract: 9 months
* Work Pattern: Full-time in-office during training, then a minimum of 2 days in the office (including team day on Wednesdays)

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Managing the end-to-end lettings process, ensuring empty properties are ready for new tenants.
* Handling notices to leave, tenancy terminations, and void tracking to improve turnaround times.
* Collaborating with internal teams (contractors, assets, support services, income & neighbourhood teams).
* Signing up new tenants, issuing decorating vouchers & fobs for access.
* Ensuring properties are advertised correctly in line with Local Authority allocation schemes.
* Providing a top-tier customer experience, handling queries and promoting digital services.




What We’re Looking For:

* Experience in social housing is essential
* Strong communication & organisation skills – you’ll be liaising with tenants, colleagues & external stakeholders.
* A proactive and flexible mindset – every day is different!
* IT proficiency & ability to maintain accurate records.




Interview Process:

* Candidates will undergo in-person interviews, consisting of a competency-based interview.
