Summary

What is the job role?

The admin assistant provides a welcoming and professional service at our school dealing with general admin duties and using the school IT systems.

To welcome parents, staff and children to the school in a friendly, helpful manner.

Work Pattern

15 hours per week (ideally Wednesday and Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm)

Term time only plus 2 days

Fixed Term for 1 Year

Who are we looking for?

Our busy and friendly school requires a part time admin assistant with a ‘can-do’ attitude and an attention to detail.

A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office/365 is required, and experience in Bromcom or Arbor would be an advantage.

You will be able to demonstrate good communication skills, as you will be the first point of contact for parents and visitors and also handle telephone enquiries.

You will be dealing with children, staff and parents in a busy office environment where calmness and the ability to prioritise are key skills.
