Teaching Assistant (Level 4)

Hours: 32½ hours Per Week – Term Time Only Salary: Grade 7 - £30,060 x 77.15% Required as soon as possible

The Headteacher and Governors of Cwm Clydach Primary School are seeking to appoint a Level 4 Teaching Assistant to lead the teaching and learning within our Nursery class. The successful candidate will be supported by our experienced Senior Leadership Team. Cwm Clydach Primary School is a happy and successful primary school with a strong caring and inclusive ethos situated in the community of Clydach Vale. The school currently has 180 pupils on roll split across 7 classes, which includes a Local Authority Nurture Provision class. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, well-motivated, articulated, resourceful and effective individual with previous experience of leading, inspiring and delivering effective provision. This outstanding practitioner will work in close partnership with the whole school community to ensure the very best opportunities and experiences for our learners. We are looking to appoint an HLTA who: ● Is highly motivated to support children to make progress and fulfil their potential. ● Is innovative, reliable and willing to contribute positively to our wider school community. ● Has experience of leading learning and inspiring pupils within a Nursery setting. ● Is confident in assessing children's progress and developing appropriate, well-planned activities to meet their individual needs ● Has a genuine interest in working collaboratively with children, young people, and their parents/carers, both inside and outside the classroom. ● Is confident to lead a team of teaching assistants efficiently and effectively. ● Has high expectations of themselves and those around them, with a steadfast commitment to raising educational standards.PROTECTING CHILDREN AND ADULTS AT RISK IS A CORE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SCHOOL AND COUNCIL.
