Summary
Your key responsibilities will include to: provide secretariat support to regular meetings and to other formal committees and working groups as directed. manage the administration of the UK Public Health Rapid Support Team (UK-PHRST), maintaining trackers including financial and related to human resources. handle confidential and sensitive material as required. organise and coordinate travel itineraries and accommodation. contribute to briefings, report presentations, and requests for information particularly on matters relating to corporate governance and business planning. alert the team to urgent issues arising and take responsibility for approaching deadlines and operating an efficient bring forward system. support the business management function of the UK Public Health Rapid Support Team. work flexibly to support the strategy team to deliver its priorities and to respond to new and emerging issues. provide support and information to aid effective support of management of budgets, reporting to the Project Business Coordinator, including overseeing the placement and/or orders for goods and/or stationery using the MaPS system, receipt goods and maintain log of expenditure. support the end of year / monthly close of accounts. undertake or assist in relevant projects, where required, across the Triple Remit. Location This role is being offered as hybrid working based at our Core HQ in Canary Wharf. We offer great flexible working opportunities at UKHSA and operate using a hybrid working model where business needs allow. As a hybrid worker, you will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of your contractual working hours (approximately 3 days a week pro rata, (averagedover a month). Our core HQ offices are modern and newly refurbished with excellent city centre transport link and benefit from benefit from co-location with other government departments such as the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC).
