Summary
The successful candidate will deliver professional and efficient services including maintaining the websites and database, organising meetings and events, taking minutes at meetings, providing financial administration, and responding to enquiries from the Network community.
We are seeking applicants with experience in similar roles, who are motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive team players, who are culturally sensitive and able to work effectively in a flexible and collaborative environment.
To be successful in this role you will have:
The ability to independently organise activities and events (and attend if required) ensuring all activities and deliverables run efficiently by coordinating diaries, booking venues, setting and communicating schedules, liaising with key stakeholder groups, and managing hospitality and visitor arrangements.
The ability to lead the promotion of the events across social media channels, produce project-related media such as email Newsletters, and arranging promotional materials such as leaflets, posters, and merchandise.
Experience in using own initiative, prioritising a conflicting workload, and suggesting and implementing practical and effective solutions.
The ability to maintain the E-textiles Network and E-Textiles Conference web pages.
Experience in building effective and credible working relationships.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and experience in taking meeting minutes.
Experience in raising requisitions, processing invoices and monitoring expenditure.
Up-to-date IT skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
