Description
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant CCTV Operator to join our Facilities & Environment team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and security of our premises through effective monitoring of surveillance systems. Your primary responsibility will be to operate and manage CCTV equipment, diligently observing real-time video feeds to identify any suspicious activities or security breaches. You will maintain detailed records of incidents and utilize your keen observational skills to support investigations as required. As part of the Facilities & Environment team, you will collaborate closely with other security personnel and department staff to create a safer environment for all. You will also assist in the upkeep of security equipment, ensuring that all cameras and systems are functional and up-to-date. This position requires a proactive individual who can think critically and respond swiftly in high-pressure situations. Responsibilities
Monitor live CCTV feeds and ensure all cameras are functioning properly.
Maintain accurate logs of incidents and observations for reporting purposes.
Identify and document any suspicious activities or security breaches in real-time.
Cooperate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
Conduct regular checks on the CCTV equipment and report any malfunctions promptly.
Assist in the development and implementation of security protocols and procedures.
Collaborate with other security personnel to enhance overall safety measures.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security systems is a plus.
Proven experience as a CCTV Operator or in a similar security role.
Familiarity with CCTV camera technologies and equipment.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic computer skills for report writing and system management.
Hours Per Week: 35.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £14.00
