TESTQ Technologies is an IT services and solutions company whose offerings spans over variety of industry sectors with strong technical, domain and process expertise helping clients grow their businesses and decrease operational costs on continuous basis in an ever-changing business environment.
This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Project Delivery Manager who will play a major role with the technical design and development of the company’s technical offerings. The position is based at our Leicester office with occasional assignments at client locations.
Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):
Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and best practices.
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively conveying project goals, updates, and expectations to stakeholders.
Skills in identifying, managing, and engaging stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Ability to identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage issues as they arise.
Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial tracking to ensure projects stay within financial constraints.
Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and ensure project milestones are met.
Knowledge of change management practices to facilitate transitions and manage resistance.
Understanding of quality management principles to ensure deliverables meet required standards.
Ability to negotiate effectively with stakeholders, vendors, and team members to achieve project objectives.
Flexibility to adjust plans and strategies in response to changing project needs or environments.
Ability to guide and support team members in their professional development.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]
3 to 4 years of experience in Project Delivery Manager or a related field.
Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, or Asana for planning, tracking, and reporting on project progress.
Familiarity with Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for analyzing project performance metrics and generating reports.
Understanding of Agile practices (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps for managing Agile projects.
Knowledge of software and methodologies for identifying and mitigating project risks (e.g., Risk Register).
Familiarity with tools for tracking quality metrics and managing quality assurance processes (e.g., QA software).
Proficiency in software for budgeting and financial tracking (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle Financial Services).
Understanding of tools that support change management processes (e.g., Prosci ADKAR).
Basic understanding of tools like Git or SVN for managing changes to project documents or code.
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP software).
Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) relevant to project hosting or deployment.
Familiarity with tools that support API integration or data transfer between systems.
Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles to ensure project data integrity and security.
Knowledge of tools that facilitate UAT, such as TestRail or UserTesting, to ensure deliverables meet client expectations.
Knowledge of methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma for optimizing processes and project outcomes.
