Market Pay Supplement up to £59,780
Recognising the workforce demand these posts are enhanced with a market rate pay supplement in excess of the top of the substantive grade. An annual review will take place which could reduce, increased or removed the enhancement subject to market conditions.
Are you interested in a challenging and fulfilling leadership role within Public Protection at Hull City Council? We are looking to appoint a professionally qualified, experienced, and highly motivated EHP to manage our Environmental Regulation Section. This section comprises three individual teams each led by a Principal Officer. The teams are responsible for discharging statutory functions and commitments in relation to legislation concerning domestic and commercial nuisance, air quality management, prescribed industrial processes, contaminated land, pest control and the animal warden service so as to achieve a safe, healthy and disease free environment within the City of Hull.
Section managers in Hull are encouraged to take on key roles, both regionally and nationally in support of the Environmental Health profession, in order to enhance and sustain its standing as a community of highly experienced officers providing essential public health services.
Membership of Chartered Institute of Environmental Health would be desirable.
