Vocational Tutor - (Electrical)
Recently rated by Ofsted as good for delivering apprenticeships, Hull Training and Adult Education, part of Hull City Council, is one of the largest providers of vocational training and further education in the region with an excellent reputation for delivering quality courses to industry. Due to increased demand we are now looking to add to a team of skilled tutors in our Electrical department.
We are seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic tutor with relevant electrical qualifications and experience of working in the industry. Although previous teaching experience would be preferred we have an excellent record of teacher training and encourage anyone who feels they have skills and the ability to pass on their knowledge to learners to apply.
We are looking for individuals who can make a significant contribution to the development and skills of the next generation of electricians.
The candidate should be organised and able to work as part of a team or individually to fulfil their role requirements.
The candidate will be expected to deliver both practical and theory based sessions to students as well as carry out site based visits to employers and effectively monitor and track the learner journey during their time on programme.
Previous experience of apprenticeship standards delivery would be an advantage.

Must hold relevant electrical qualifications
Ideally has 2391 qualification
Must have a passion to educate the electricians of the future
