The DVSA has just aligned our Data Strategy with the DVSA Vision and no surprise, data is key to our ambitions. The Lead Performance Analyst role is responsible for leading and managing the profession of performance analysts embedded in each of our services. The role is there to assist, take forward and influence the DVSA data strategy. The role plays a critical part in leveraging data as a strategic asset through delivery of actionable insights that improve decision-making and drive Service outcomes. The role ensures that analysis happens across DVSA Services to ensure the Government Service Manual requirements are met to aligned with the Government Service Standard. The role will bring consistency of approach to measures across the Services and build a development programme for performance analysts across the business. The Lead Performance Analyst will work collaboratively with other Data Leadership roles covering Data Analysis, Data Science, Data Engineering, Data Governance and Data Management to support DVSA achieve out ambitions to reach our Vision by 2030.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leadership and Strategy.
- Data Analysis oversight, Data driven decision making, continuous improvement.
- Collaboration and communication.

Additional Information
This role can be based in Bristol, Swansea, Nottingham, Newcastle, Oldham, Leeds or Birmingham, your presence at one of these locations will form part of the working arrangements agreed with you. We operate a hybrid working model giving you greater flexibility about where and when you work. Our expectation is that you will spend a minimum 60% of your time at your base location. Visits to other DVSA sites or work locations count towards this.
