Summary
You will provide assistance and support to the Officer Commanding Service Discipline and the Senior Non commissioned Officer for service discipline related matters including:
Providing guidance regarding disciplinary matters and misconduct of Service Personnel.
Understand, comply with and provide advice on all current orders and publications applicable to personnel administration.
Administering the process for individuals appearing at civilian and service court and maintaining discipline records using online software.
Compiling and processing service discipline and administrative documentation for cases involving military personnel.
Maintaining records of RAF Fitness Tests and compiling administrative action documents for test failures.
Processing discipline checks for Service personnel using online software.
Process disciplinary paperwork as required including on unit hearings.
Process discipline checks as and when requested for Service personnel.
Process applications for part-time employment, send out approval letters and update the register.
Process Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) checks, verify personnel, deal with any DBS enquiries, maintaining records with Certificate information.
Process any other medals applications that require manual application.
Provide cover for local Senior Non Commissioned Officer.
Manage the disciplinary email multiuser as required, actioning miscellaneous queries.
Remote working within this role is something that can be discussed at interview stages or with your future line manager if you are found successful.
