We are partnered with a small Engineering firm based in Basildon who are currently recruiting an IT Systems Administrator to join their team!
Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Systems Administrator is responsible for:
- Supporting 80+ employees with the IT systems environment
- Assisting in the development of IT policies, standards, and resources
- Implementing system configurations
- Maintaining asset management and incident management systems
- Monitoring systems availability and performance
- Assisting users with application operations
- Supporting other IT team members with implementing solutions and projects
Key Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft on-premises and cloud system administration
- Ability to create and maintain detailed technical documentation
- Experience with Windows server configuration and fault-finding
- Involvement with change management
- Administration of information assets, including classification, routing, cleansing, and retention.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Windows Server Administration certification
- Microsoft Active Directory administration certification.
- Microsoft 365 administration certification
