Summary
The aim of the Review, Retention and Disposal (RRD) process is to protect the public and ensure that we retain information that is both accurate and lawful, in line with national guidance and legislation.
You will work as part of a great supportive team, reviewing information and making appropriate retention and disposal decisions in line with our comprehensive guide. You will ensure that the records reviewed are of the highest standard and will make the initial decision to retain or dispose of records before they are again reviewed for authorisation by a Supervisor. All work will be conducted electronically, and you will be issued with a laptop computer and mobile phone.

As part of the review process, there will be a requirement on occasions to liaise with other members of Lincolnshire Police and colleagues in other regional forces. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
The role is based at Lincolnshire’s Police Headquarters in Nettleham in our Information Management Unit. There is no requirement for travel and when fully trained there is also flexibility to work between the hours of 7.00am and 7.00pm.
You must be able to demonstrate good IT skills and have experience in the collation, analysis and evaluation of information.
You must also demonstrate the ability to develop strong working relationships with members of Lincolnshire Police, and our regional partners.
The role will be exciting and challenging on occasions, requiring self-motivation and the ability to balance conflicting demands. However, you will be at the heart of improving performance for Lincolnshire, as well as across the East Midlands and the City of London in a critical business area and the opportunity for personal job satisfaction and achievement will be considerable.
As part of the interview process, there will also be a short assessment in relation to evaluating information and decision making.
