Summary
The role will work as part of the Divisional Senior Management Team to support the Divisional Finance Business Partner (FBP) in managing the financial performance of the Division. Provide expert accounting and business knowledge, analytical support, clear presentation and understanding of financial, activity and business information. Lead on the delivery of month end and forecasting with support from the Divisional Finance Manager (DFM), communicating the key drivers and risks to the FBP and the Assistant Director of Finance Financial Management (ADFM). Provide financial reporting and analysis to support the Division in the development and delivery of the financial and operational plan as well as the production of budget, monthly reporting pack and ad-hoc consolidation reports on Trust-wide projects. Work alongside the FBP in supporting the Division to identify and transact saving opportunities to ensure the Trust can reduce the current underlying deficit. Work with the FBP and DFM in delivering a comprehensive financial management service to the Division. The role will help in setting the workload for the DFM, and deputise for the FBP as required.
