Summary
The successful candidate will:
Provide security guidance to Naval Base (NB) personnel on all Protective Security matters and ensure compliance with Base Security Orders (BSO’s), JSP 440 - The Defence Manual of Security, Navy Command Security Regulations (NCSRs) and other appropriate MOD regulations.
Ensure that the Naval Base Protective Security measures remain secure and up to the required security standard for the class of establishment, to enable the NB to function effectively, efficiently, and securely.
Carry out Protective Security Advisory Visits or Investigations for Naval Base Directorates, lodger units and lessees advising on security risk assessments and reporting any security vulnerabilities that come to light to the Base Security (BSyO) team and or Navy Command Principal Security Advisor as appropriate.
Attend and provide appropriate advice at security meetings as required and provide feedback to the BSyO team.
