Lecturer in Equine
£26,451 - £41,247 per annum
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Are you an experienced and passionate Equine professional, looking to share you expertise and love of horses with our engaged students?
As our Lecturer in Equine, you will join our outstanding team at Brinsbury College and deliver creative and innovative lessons to students working predominantly with Equine subjects from Level 1 to 3. There may also be some low-level Animal Care delivery in addition depending on the profile of the successful candidate. This is a teaching role with a difference! We have indoor stabling for 23 horses, one indoor and two outdoor arenas, plus a training cross-country course. Working at Brinsbury College means working in a unique location, surrounded by 570 acres of stunning countryside with our very own farm, woodlands, orchard and more! You don’t often get that in your standard teaching role!
The role includes Study Programme leadership, where you will support, guide and track progress of a group of students through their study programme providing excellent student experience.
Our Lecturer in Equine will have a proactive and positive approach to work, and hold a level 5 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant subject, alongside industry experience.
Teaching experience is preferable, as you will be planning, delivering and assessing groups of students in both theory and practical aspects of the course. However, full teacher training is available for the right candidate if required.
