Summary
PLAYWORKER (A-Z After School Club)Devonshire Primary School require a PLAYWORKER to work in our After School Provision which provides quality childcare to our families. The salary for this post is Scale: 1C3 Spine Points 2 to 6 (FTE £25,854 to £27,438 Pay Award Pending) Actual Salary Range £9,758 to £10,356Hours of work are 2.45 pm to 6.00 pm - Monday to Friday (Total hours / week 16.25) - Term Time Only.
At Devonshire Primary School, we are seeking to appoint an excellent playworker to join our friendly and welcoming team as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be passionate about providing safe and enjoyable play opportunities for our children, after the school day. The role requires a highly child centred approach, the development of creative play contexts, and a strong understanding of safeguarding. Successful candidates will be required to fully interact with the children's physical activities both inside and outside.When Ofsted visited us in May 2019, they commented on the strong sense of community in the school and the fact that staff and pupils told them that they were proud to be members of the school. We can offer you the opportunity to make a difference, contribute to our community and develop yourself professionally.
