Summary

Business Development Manager

Hull

Salary: £33,096 - £36,113 FTE per annum

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

As our Business Development Manager, you will take responsibility for promoting a range of Hull College's products and services to stakeholders. You will proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage a portfolio of stakeholders and ensure that all employers have a first-class customer service experience

The post holder will be responsible for the colleges employer engagement activity to build key customer relationships and deliver income generation through the recruitment onto a range of programmes and opportunities for learners

Responsibilities of our Business Development Manager:


Achieve recruitment, income and sales targets as well as other KPls as agreed with the Head Institute in line with the colleges strategic plan.
Deliver outstanding customer service to all stakeholders and act as the initial point of contact for all new and existing employers
Use appropriate routes to market to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Undertake detailed Organisational Needs and Training Needs Analysis.
Ensure quality and accuracy of information provided to employers in line with relevant funding and policy guidance.
Engage employers in the co-design and co-delivery of programme development to support and inform curriculum intent and implementation.
Provide support to the Data Protection Officer with regards to data protection in relation to your job role/function.
Be accountable for supporting a culture of continuous improvement, which delivers agreed quality standards across all areas of employer engagement and student experience understanding how this impact on learner recruitment, attendance, retention, achievement and progression.
Ensure the highest standards of compliancy and accuracy in all administrative work in line with policies and procedures
Identify new opportunities for growing non-traditional commercial income streams at the college.


What we’re looking for in our Business Development Manager:


Relevant professional/vocational qualification in Customer Service
Evidence of commitment to personal development and continuing improvement
3 years’ experience of business development
Strong knowledge of CRM systems and usage
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to use digital tools at a level commensurate with job role
