The Ophthalmology department is seeking to recruit an administrator to join this busy team for a fixed term/Secondment of 12 months to cover maternity leave. They will work as part of the multidisciplinary eye team consisting of 6 consultant ophthalmologists, 3 orthoptists, 2 optometrists, 1 ophthalmic technician as well as nurses and health care assistants.

The postholder will be expected to work between 8:30am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday. Job share applicants are also welcome to apply.

The main responsibilities are to carry out administrative functions including scheduling appointments, processing written correspondence and tracking patient outcomes & pathways.
With a new hospital planned for Watford and work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital, this is an exciting time to join us.
