More about the role:
- Staffing & Scheduling: Manage daily staffing, update schedules, and resolve attendance issues.
- Payroll: Verify timesheets and ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Communication: Liaise between People Operations and other departments; handle inquiries.
- HR Compliance: Ensure compliance and manage HR records for new hires and changes.
- Agency & Vendor Management: Coordinate with staffing agencies and vendors.
- Data & Reporting: Maintain records and generate reports for staffing and payroll.
- Team Leadership: Lead the team in the absence of leadership and organize meetings.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvements and stay updated on HR practices.
- Event & Project Support: Assist in event planning and support special projects.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources, operations, or people management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a senior or supervisory role is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by the events calendar
