Summary
We are seeking a Career Management Operations Executive Officer (EO) to be the focal point for Regular Officer contracts and Change of Engagement processes, to oversee the update of Military Human Resource Management Information System records pertaining to newly Commissioned Army Officers, Conversions of Commission (Change of contract), All Transfers for officers within the Regular Army, Confirmations of Commission after probationary periods and Promotions and extensions of service.
You will be responsible for the provision of guidance in respect of Change of Army Engagement and Terms and Conditions of Service to relevant stakeholders. All tasks to be completed in accordance with relevant Standing Operating Procedures and Desk Instructions.
Main responsibilities will include:
Line management responsibilities for 3 Administrative Officers. Comply with departmental Policy, Rules and Guidance particularly in relation to performance appraisal and absence management
Comply with Health and Safety Regulations
Support the business needs of the section as directed by line management
Conduct weekly staff meetings and adhere to timeline of tasks as directed through the sections weekly meeting
Lead on monthly training sessions in relation to Microsoft packages, MODNET and Officers Secretariat, identifying and addressing knowledge gaps
Act as Army Personnel Centre focal point for Regular Army Commissioning
Act as Army Personnel Centre focal point for publication of conversion / commission Army board results
Monitor the progress of conversions of commission (Change of contract) including Board and Offer returns and Medical cases to provide statistical information to Line Management
The management of routine business of the section
