About the role
- This is a temporary full-time role for 8 months - however flexibility in this will be considered
- We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
- The base location for this role is Greggs Head Office - Q9 Newcastle Upon Tyne / remote working is also available
What you’ll do
As a Technical Specification Officer - the main purpose of your role will be:
- Ensure the accuracy, legality and compliance of all raw materials and finished product specifications with appropriate approvals.
- Ensure specifications are completed within agreed PLM timescales where information is provided.
- Provide technical support and guidance to suppliers and all internal stakeholders across the business in relation to specifications.
- Support the review, improvement and maintenance of the specification database, reporting any bugs/errors to the database/software provider.
- Provide specification data reports to all relevant parties across the business as required (e.g. specification statuses, nutrition, allergens, product claims, traceability, CSR etc).
- Complete objectives and KPIs – providing updates each reporting period/as required.
- Contribute and support to the implementation & testing of the new specification system via data migration.
