Summary
DBT's marketing team is offering the rare opportunity for an Assistant Marketing Campaign Manager to support its award-winning and innovative international marketing campaign in a dynamic and energised marketing team.
The Assistant Marketing Campaign Manager will work across the GREAT Global Trade and Investment (GTI) campaign, the UK Government’s flagship international marketing campaign. The GTI promotes the UK as a premium destination for overseas buyers and investors. It is a central part of the Government’s world-renowned GREAT Britain and Northern Ireland campaign, showcasing the best of what our whole nation has to offer to inspire the world and encouraging people to visit and do business, invest, and study in the UK.

Working alongside creative professionals across the department, wider government as well as with industry-leading creative and media agencies will provide you with an excellent platform to gain experience and develop your marketing career.

The role will allow you to work on a wide range of projects spanning the marketing mix, from above the line and PR campaigns to low cost and no cost activities. You will play an integral part of the campaign development and delivery as well as taking individual accountability for leading projects and work streams.
Responsibilities will vary but could include a mix of the following:
- Support the digital marketing strategy to help deliver on campaign objectives and help to lead the execution of multi-channel campaigns, ensuring consistency in the promotion of the brand and the customer journey.
- Work closely with media and creative agencies to deliver campaign work.
- Manage multiple stakeholders from different disciplines to enable on-time and quality execution of the campaign.
- Support on key campaign moments across overseas markets, ensuring the target audience is front of mind in all delivery.
- Carry out research to produce compelling content in support of the campaign across channels such as Twitter and LinkedIn.
- Monitor content performance across multiple channels and providing data-driven recommendations for optimisation.
- Support on email marketing including content development and segmentation of data sets.
- Support campaign activity around events through effective digital and offline channels.
- Support on email marketing including content development and segmentation of data sets.
- Be a point of contact for the process of collating stories about successful investments and exporting businesses from across the department. Facilitate their use in outputs from across DBT’s communications and marketing directorate as well as wider government.
- Provide support such as arranging team meetings, minute writing, collating team activity into regular updates for the organisation using packages such as Microsoft Office.
