Providing technical support to the Performance Marketing Team.
We would love you to join us as a graduate trainee Search Marketing Executive, helping us to achieve our vision of becoming a global leader in recommerce. It’s a really exciting time to join World of Books Group as we launch into our next phase of business growth.
Your main role would be to write Google scripts (modern Java script) to automate and optimise our search ad campaigns, and ensure they are as efficient and profitable as possible. Full training in performance marketing and PPC advertising will be provided.
The role will have a strong technical focus and your key responsibilities will be to:
Support the PPC Manager to implement the paid media strategy
Ensure Search Query Reports (SQR) and ad optimisation plans are delivered in timely manner.
Help to identify areas of automation opportunities, which can be enhanced via scripting or reporting efficiencies.
Deliver reporting of campaigns, across all KPIs, to maximise ROI on agree timescales.
A Computer Science (or similar technical) degree is essential, and to succeed you will also need:
Strong JavaScript skills (to support the creation of Google Scripts)
Be highly numerate and analytically minded.
Enjoy building relationships within a performance-driven team.
Knowledge of SQL – preferred
