As our new IT Applications Specialist, you will work closely with our internal Managers and Teams to act as the liaison between
our service areas and our IT providers. Your role will be to identify, implement and upgrade our business applications.



We run a diverse mix of services across multiple locations from childcare, sports activities, room bookings and property
management. We currently have a diverse range of business applications which need dedicated support to ensure we are not only
getting the most of them but they are performing in the most effective and efficient way possible. We are also keen to adopt new
applications and would look for you to take the lead on this.




Key Responsibilities:

* Application Management: Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of our SharePoint platform and other
business applications.
* User Support and Training: Provide expert-level support and training to end-users, ensuring they leverage SharePoint
effectively.
* Champion Best Practice : Implement strategies to improve adoption and usage of the applications as well as information sharing
through SharePoint.
* Integration: Work with other IT team members to integrate Business Applications with other business systems.
* Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve application issues promptly to minimise downtime and disruptions to the service areas.
* Gather Requirements: Work with Managers to identify their needs and support the build to meet their specific requirements.
* Supplier Relationships: Work closely with our Suppliers to build an excellent working relationship, ensuring they support
through initial scoping, UAT and implementation as well as through BAU.




Qualifications:

* Experience: Previous experience as an IT Applications Specialist with a focus on SharePoint.
* Technical Skills: Proficient as a SharePoint administration and knowledge other business systems administration.
* Knowledge: Strong understanding of business applications and business systems.
* Programming Skills: Familiarity with SharePoint Designer, Power Automate, and other relevant tools.
* Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple teams.
* Certification: SharePoint certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator)



Working between our 2 key locations in Nottingham (within the Malt Cross pub!) or Newark (within our Activity & Community
Village), our hybrid working policy allows for 1 day working from home once you are full trained. We do ask for some flexibility
to meet the demands of the organisation - you will manage your diary and we trust you to be where you need to be to be most
effective.



We operate in 5 locations across the East Midlands, Nottingham, Newark, Mansfield, Worksop and Goole. You must have your own car
and be able to drive to these locations in the course of your role if required.
