Summary
Mobile Plant Engineer - Up to £47k salary DOE + van - 50 hours per week Monday to Friday covering the South East mainly Surrey & Kent - regular overtime and on a Saturday if you want it at time and a half! The Mobile Plant Engineer will play a vital role in the field working at key customer sites.
We are currently working with a well Established Construction Plant and Civil Engineering company based in the South London/Surrey area who are looking for an additional Mobile Plant Engineer to join their team
Mobile Plant Engineer will be responsible for;
• Carrying out on site repairs, scheduled maintenance, diagnostics and fault finding
• Routine services on plant equipment such as Diggers, Dumpers, Excavators and Rollers - equipment to around 26t
• Quickly and effectively diagnose faults on equipment to ensure minimal downtime
• Providing solutions to queries from customers on site
• Liaise with the parts department to ensure your van is fully stocked at all times.
• Follow safety and housekeeping standards in your area of work both in our workshop and at customer sites
• Representing the company in a professional and knowledgeable way

To be successful for the role of the Mobile Plant Engineer, you will have also worked in positions such as, Engineer, Mechanic, Plant Fitter, Workshop Plant Fitter, Service Fitter, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Heavy Plant Engineer or Plant Mechanic. They have a large JCB fleet with Thwaites, Bomag, Hitachi and others.
An NVQ in Plant Maintenance or equivalent is not essential for this role, we welcome applications from engineers who have time-served experience in this industry
