We’re currently recruiting a Job Coach to join our team. You’ll be at the heart of our delivery approach.
As part of being a Job Coach you’ll make our customers feel welcome and comfortable when they first join our programme, this is one of our top priorities. You’ll be the welcoming voice of Pluss, supporting on the job placements with our new customers. You’ll need to be able to engage people who are neuro-diverse from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences. The role will require you to empower and encourage customers and support them into meaningful, sustainable employment. You'll identify and overcome barriers to improve their health as well as build their confidence throughout their journey.
We’re not looking for someone who ticks every box, just so long as you have an engaging personality, are comfortable working with a diverse group of people and can provide a warm and welcoming experience to help our customers in their first steps back into employment.

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary range £26,000 to £29,545 p.a. /pro rata (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Key Responsibilities
Meet, and strive to exceed personal performance targets, Key Performance Indicators and all Quality and Compliance measures.
Progressively manage a caseload of referred customers using a variety of appropriate strategies to help them overcome barriers to gaining employment.
Assist with identifying customers’ skills, strengths, employment preferences and support needs by contributing to the development of Vocational Profiling / Discovery and Personal Development Plans, in order to achieve the customers’ employment aims
Skills and Experience
Essential
A good working knowledge of the local labour market in the specified geographical locations
Experience of working with people with multiple and complex needs in particular those with a learning disability.
Experience of delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards
Desirable
Level 3 Award in Employability Services Sector or equivalent
Experience of working with people in the provision of ‘information, advice & guidance’
Full driving
