The Opportunity
We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Care Manager to lead our regulated care services in Honiton and surrounding areas. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for service delivery, compliance, team development, and strategic growth.

You’ll be joining Beehive at an exciting time, with the opportunity to shape our care model, influence operational decisions, and help build a service that truly puts people first.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the care service

Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards

Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and supervision of care staff

Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures

Monitor budgets, staffing levels, and resource allocation

Build strong relationships with customers, families, professionals, and commissioners

Represent the service during inspections, reviews, and multi-agency meetings

Ensure accurate documentation and communication via Careberry and other systems

Drive continuous improvement and uphold Beehive’s values in every aspect of care delivery

What We’re Looking For
Essential:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a care management role

Strong working knowledge of CQC standards and inspection frameworks

Proven leadership and team management skills

Experience managing safeguarding and risk

Excellent communication, decision-making, and organisational abilities

Confidence using care management systems (e.g., Careberry)

Commitment to person-centred care and ethical leadership

Desirable:

Nursing or clinical background

Experience in a newly registered or start-up care service

Business development or tendering experience

Advanced training in PBS or complex care

Experience delivering staff training or mentoring
