Summary

An award winning law firm based in Holborn is seeking an experienced Billing Coordinator, paying up to £40,00 plus benefits, to join their ambitious team.

The role will sit in the heart of their relatively new billings function which was established 2/3 years ago to support the Attorneys and their clients. This means you will be joining at a really exciting time for the team where there will be loads potential for growth and development.

The ideal candidate will come from a Legal Billings background and have experience ideally working in a commercial law firm.

Duties will include the following:

  • Act as first point of contact for queries and requests from lawyers across the UK and Europe
  • Organise and distribute monthly billing workload, such as preparation of WIP reports, amending WIP, drafting and finalising bills. Assisting paralegals with billing queries and supporting the billing team.
  • Managing eBilled clients including the upload of files and bills, the onboarding process for new clients, managing client invoices and client rates, invoice rejections and queries
  • Oversee compliance with internal billing procedure
  • Manage disbursements
  • Produce reports and assist in monitoring of WIP and billed fees to ensure compliance with budgets
  • Assist in the preparation of costs estimates, budgets and monitoring compliance
  • Assist with the preparation of statement of costs, interim and final

The ideal candidate will have over 2 years experience working within a legal billings department and will have extensive experience with senior stakeholder management. You will be a great team player, having the ability to prioritise workloads as well as work to strict deadlines. You will be numerically minded with an eye for detail, working with accuracy.
