Onboarding Officer

37.5 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for 4 Onboarding Officers to join our team based in Hull. The Onboarding Team sits within the Lettings Teams of Sanctuary Housing. The team manages a variety of tenures across the country. The Onboarding Team manage the delivery of our high-quality housing support service that meets the identified needs of our prospective and current customers in accordance with allocation and lettings procedures.

The role of Onboarding Officer will include:


- Ensure administrative systems are managed effectively and efficiently to support the delivery of accurate and up to date waiting lists
- Manage the provision of a range of housing options which helps customers maximise the search for suitable accommodation, advising on our allocations policy in accordance with policies, procedures, and relevant regulations
- Administer the key management process for terminating tenancies by liaising with customers and internal teams, ensuring the process is followed in a timely and effective manner
- Respond to complaints and customer feedback to meet customer expectations, effectively communicating progress and outcomes to the customer


Skills and experiences:

- Experience of working with data, including inputting, and updating databases
- Experience of supporting the delivery of high-quality housing or customer services
- Experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
- Ability to extract and interrogate computerised information and documentation
- Experience in the use of Housing management systems such as, DocuSign, Abritias, Huume, Locata or similar, is desirable
- Good communication, interpersonal and customer care skills
- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel
