Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Retrofit Surveyor

We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Retrofit Surveyor in the Asset & Regeneration Team. This post will be based at our Stanley or Gosforth offices and is a permanent full-time position.

About the role

The right person for this role will be responsible for supporting our approach to ensuring our homes meet current and future minimum energy efficiency standards.

You will be responsible for assisting with the development of energy efficiency and grant funded led investment programmes such as the undertaking of retrofit assessments, EPC’s as well as providing sound technical advice across the wider team and organisation.

About you

We seek an enthusiastic and personable individual with knowledge and experience of the challenges faced in the housing sector in relation to decarbonisation of existing homes. The successful candidate must be highly motivated, capable of working to a high standard, on their own and within a team, promoting the Karbon values and brand and ensuring that targets and KPI’s are achieved. You will be highly motived, have good time management with a great attention to detail, be able to work unsupervised, encouraging collaboration across Karbon Homes and have a clear strategic focus on ensuring homes meet current and future minimum energy efficiency standards.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.

  • Retrofit Surveyor – permanent role
  • Salary is £41,013 per annum plus a Karbon car payment of £2,260 per annum
  • Location: Flexible base can be Stanley or Gosforth
  • Regular travel will be required
  • 37 Hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working
