Summary
We are looking for a person, ideally with previous experience managing STRAP material or working in a STRAP environment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work at pace are essential. The successful candidate will be required to:
Act as the Army lead on all STRAP security related issues including briefing new personnel and providing security advice on all existing and new STRAP projects.
Assist in the identification, articulation and resolution of STRAP related issues and risk with sites professing STRAP material across Army.
Support Army Projects and Programs, conducting site visits on a regular basis, with requirements to hold and process STRAP material. This can be both fixed and potentially mobile solutions. This will include potential ways of working, physical, personal and Information System security.
Advise the Army Warning Advice and Reporting Point (WARP), PSyA and as needed Partners Across Government (PAG), on any breaches in Army involving STRAP material, including loss, unauthorised access, failure to adhere to rules.
Maintain a record of all individuals in Army TLB who are STRAP inducted and limit access to STRAP material to those individuals.
Agreeing the Army contribution to the Annual Assurance of STRAP facilities; prioritising and tasking Specialist Staff to undertake a physical security assurance review of STRAP areas in Army.
