Summary


Berkshire Healthcare are seeking an organised and motivated personfor a1 Year Fixed Term Contractas apart timeSeniorMusculoskeletal Physiotherapistin the Physiotherapy Outpatient team(30 Hours). Thesuccessful candidatewill be required to work atourWokinghamand Reading sites.This post is also open to those that may wish to apply for a Band 5 / 6Development role.


We receive a wide variety of referrals from GP surgeries, orthopaedic clinics and from the Trusts SpecialistPain andSpinal Service(IPASS) and MSK Community Specialist Service (CSS).We have excellent clinical and administrative teams ranging from Bands 3 – 7 and you willreceive supportand development from both the team lead and clinical leadership team tofacilitateyour career progression. We havegreatopportunities to progress within your career with Band7 clinical and team leadrolesand excellent links with our wider MSK team which has a total of 24 APPs.


The successful candidate will need tobecommitted to providing high quality, effective assessment and physiotherapy treatment, promoting self-management and empowerment of your patients.

• To work as a senior physiotherapy practitioner to provide a high quality, responsive outpatient physiotherapy service for adults & children with musculoskeletal & orthopaedicconditions
• To provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment,treatmentand caseload management
• To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner working without direct supervision.
• To be involved in supervision and education of junior physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants, technical instructor, work experience students and physiotherapy students
