Summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiasticPsychological Therapistto join the Berkshire CAMHS Anxiety Disorders Treatment Team (ADTT).
Working as part of the clinical team and supported by senior clinicians, you will manage a clinical caseload and deliver high quality, safe and effective psychological interventions within the associated service and across all sectors of related care across Berkshire.Working as a senior clinician in a multidisciplinary team, you willbe responsible forconducting highlyspecialist psychological assessments, case formulations and delivering specialised evidence-based psychological interventions to service users presenting withanxiety disorders. You will be proficient in conducting comprehensive risk assessments, formulating effective risk management plans, and working alongside other agencies where wider case management isindicated.
You will be working in collaboration with other psychological therapists and members of the clinical team and wider system in developing and formulating individualised treatment plans and supporting the delivery of psychologically informed care.A key part of the role is competency development in leadership skills and supervisory practice. You will direct, line manage,superviseand provide specialist teaching,trainingand in-service support to junior andtrainee psychological professionals, and other members of the clinical team, within your areaof responsibility.
1. To be responsible for the delivery of psychological therapy within ADTT, providing expert professional leadership and advice relating to the delivery of psychological therapy for complex presentations requiring multiple interventions, complex or intensive risk management plans and high levels of multiagency working in order to ensure and develop consistently high quality, safe and cost effective services for users, working in partnership with key stakeholders internal and external to the Trust
2. As we develop our on-line offer, to undertake a role in moderating service user activity on the Trust Support, Hope, Recovery On-Line Network (SHaRON) and to participate in on-line discussions and care delivery via this modality
3. The post holder will be responsible for expert psychological assessment, case formulation, risk assessment and treatment for a designated number of patients presenting with complex mental health difficulties.
4. Manage, supervise, and support psychological practitioners/professionals and trainees, and other members of the clinical team within their area of responsibility, undertaking annual appraisals, as delegated by the Team Manager / Service Manager.
5. Chair multi-agency meetings to achieve positive outcomes, particularly for more complex clinical presentations.

The “must haves” for this role:
1.Post graduate qualification inCognitive Behavioural Therapy.
2.Registered with theBritish Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP).
3.Experience of delivering therapy in specialist assessment and treatment pathways using CBT.
4. Providing Clinical leadership and/or management in using CBT to treat anxietydisordersor supervision pathways.
5. Experience of managing complex situations concerning safeguarding, risk management, complaintsand investigations.
