Summary

Join us as an Investment Support Team Manager

  • In this key role, you’ll be responsible for the technical leadership and operational management of teams with complex and high risk processes
  • We’ll look to you to support senior colleagues with strategy, business and revenue planning and forecasting across the department
  • You will be a leading a team responsible for the processing of corporate actions and maintenance of asset static data, so you will have experience in these areas.

What you'll do

As an Investment Support Team Manager, you’ll be working in conjunction with the Investment team to deliver key objectives within the business. Working collaboratively, you’ll deliver improvements in processes or customer experiences by reducing hand-offs and increasing straight-through processing through automation. You’ll also be providing valuable support to senior colleagues with strategy, project delivery, business support, revenue planning and forecasting across the department.

You’ll also be:

  • Producing high quality, timely management information, reporting papers and presentations in support of business goals and performance
  • Supporting asset management to deliver their strategic, business and financial objectives
  • Making sure that complex client complaints are dealt with in line with procedures and result in a resolution that sits within the Treating Customers Fairly framework and in line with business principles
  • Overseeing and undertaking projects to develop strategies for business growth
  • Accountable for owning and managing, within a defined risk appetite, the risks which exist

The skills you'll need

To take on this role, you’ll need people leadership experience, including the proven ability to lead people to deliver outstanding results. You’ll also bring experience of leading and implementing change and managing projects.

Additionally, you’ll need:

  • The ability to clearly articulate issues and solutions and challenge in a constructive way
  • A strong track record of leadership and influencing skills in a professional advice and service environment
  • High levels of knowledge and understanding of investments and banking products and services
  • Knowledge and experience of corporate actions and maintenance of asset static data
  • Excellent decision making skills and the ability to influence successful outcomes and engage the team
  • The ability to work in a highly pressurised environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously
