Guildford Nursery School and Family Centre is seeking a highly organised and dynamic PA and Communications Officer to join our team starting in September 2024. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our engagement with the local community, responsible for managing our communications strategy, ensuring our message is consistent and impactful, as well as providing crucial support to senior leaders.
Our large Maintained Nursery School is based on two sites, both with wonderful outdoor learning and play spaces. Our Family Centre operates from one of our nursery schools and at a site on Park Barn.
We are looking for people with a passion for early years education, social justice and a can-do attitude.
Role:
The post will be based at our nursery school and family centre, Hazel Avenue, Guildford GU1 1NR.
20-25 hours a week over 4-5 days. Actual hours can be negotiated.
We are looking for candidates who:
• Are positive, flexible, responsible and highly competent
• Have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Have excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office and communication tools.
• Have previous experience in a similar role (desirable).
