Summary

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated senior pharmacist to join our existing team which is part of a forward thinking, patient focused clinical pharmacy service.

This is a very exciting time to join our friendly team working alongside our multidisciplinary colleagues within our Division of General and Specialist Medicine at Royal Oldham Hospital.

The speciality medicine services provided within this division include diabetes, endocrinology, respiratory and cardiology. You will work within a pharmacy team that will provide an effective and high standard pharmacy support service.

This position is ideal for a pharmacist looking to consolidate and develop clinical skills in a dynamic working environment, where knowledge obtained from a post- graduate qualification in clinical pharmacy or equivalent will be essential.

You will be a member of our team of senior pharmacists, working in a supportive environment that encourages growth and career enhancement, both clinically and managerially.

Working directly with a team of prescribers, junior pharmacists, technicians and medicine management assistants, this will be your chance to utilise and develop your existing clinical knowledge, whilst also expanding your leadership and management experience.

The post holders will be a key member of the Divisional team reviewing and prioritising patients and using a non-medical prescribing qualification. You will be actively supported to gain a non-medical prescribing qualification if you do not currently have one.

Working in a fast paced medical environment allows you the opportunity to be involved with a diverse range of patients, and work closely with a variety of other professionals, including specialist nurses and consultants, to treat patients in a way that delivers the best care for them.
