Summary


This post is a key part of the team responsible for leading and managing delivery of the Bedded Unit Digitisation project. The post holder will be responsible for the planning, delivery, reporting and effective management of a number of project workstreams. The initial focus will be on delivering project management of the CLCH Estate infrastructure upgrade, purchase, delivery, implementation, testing and sign off for new digital resources to the Bedded Unit Services.

The post holder will be responsible for:
• Managing and leading specific workstreams of the delivery of the Bedded Unit Digitisation project within the IM&T Directorate. This includes developing and managing project/programs plans, reporting progress and undertaking risk and issue management to ensure effective and timely delivery.
• Managing and contributing to the reporting of progress/under performance of projects and programs.
• Working directly with operational leads and relevant stakeholders to deliver the delivery of the Bedded Unit Digitisation project tasks.
• Managing all Purchase Orders related to the project via established internal payment systems


• Contribute to transformational change and improvement, taking a lead for identified areas where agreed.
• Provide co-ordination of and participate in relevant internal and external working groups and provide project advice, expertise and support as required.
• Provide relevant and timely updates on own projects/functions as required
• Work with members of the team to investigate the causes of any variance from target/plan and proactively contribute to the implementation of solutions.
• Ensure there is an audit trail for all changes in accordance with the document management process in place
• Management of a risk and issues tracking mechanism and its proactive resolution and escalation processes.
• Design and apply appropriate project management frameworks for the projects (using relevant project standards and methodology) including Project Plan, RAID log, Risk Register, Monthly Highlight Reports, Exception report
• Adopt any delegated assurance roles within agreed reporting structure
• Prepare and maintain their project plan, stage and exception plans as required.
• Manage the overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary
• Manage the change control and any required configuration management
• Report, through agreed reporting lines, on project progress through highlight reports and stage assessment
• Liaise with appointed project assurance roles to assure the overall direction and integrity of the project within the program
