Summary

Customer Service Manager

40 hours per week, five days across Monday - Saturday

Established in 1938, Cotteswold Dairy is one of the UK’s leading independent family-owned dairies. Our founder Harry Workman was committed to supporting local farmers and communities by delivering the freshest, finest quality products with first class customer service

Due to retirement, Cotteswold Dairy are now looking to appoint a dedicated and dynamic Customer Service Manager to monitor and drive our customer service levels whilst providing excellent communications through the business and to our customer base. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be based at the head office in Tewkesbury, alongside our core sales team. You will also support our depot sales teams across the country, ensuring a smooth and consistant service from production plant to customer. With a new building opening in 2024, you will have the opportunity to build on the existing success of the team - working closely with Haulage and Distribution, Depots and Production to deliver our quality products across the UK

Customer Service Manager Responsibilities

You will be responsible for driving our service levels and making recommendations based on data and experiences; developing and implementing a robust reporting framework for key customer service performance indicators. You will effectively monitor and control customer orders ensuring accuracy of deliveries, sales and invoicing while updating and validating the customer database and pricing files. You will conduct root cause analysis of any customer complaints or concerns to make improvements and prevent reoccurrance

In addition you will provide strong leadership, guidence and support to our sales team, building rapport with our customers and working alongside the commercial and marketing departments to promote our products and services


Customer Service Manager Requirements

You will have proven expereince as a professional Customer Service Manager or Team Leader, with the ability to engage and motivate your team. You will adopt a proactive approach and remain positive, with creative soloutions to any adversities.

Planning and organisation skills are a must - as is a strong understanding of systems and IT - as we modernise the company over the next few years with better infrastructure, you will play a key role in this process. You will be trustworthy and show a high degree of self-motivation.
