Summary
The Chelmsford & Colchester Breast Screening Service have an exciting opportunity for a Breast Screening Clerical Officer who has a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
This post is 30 hours per week, to be worked over 4 working days. Some cross cover between Colchester and Chelmsford Breast Screening Sites would be required.
You will need to be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbally and written as you will be booking and changing women's screening appointments whilst taking phone calls and responding to e-mails.
You should also be able to organise your own workload and be able to prioritise.

We would consider an apprenticeship in this role.
Respond to all telephone enquiries from general public, other national screening offices, hospital medical personnel and all internal and external customers, with sensitivity, knowledge and experience using own initiative referring on when necessary
Make or change appointments for breast imaging, assessing what type of appointment is required and booking into correct clinic
Be responsible for making decisions on eligibility of women who self-request for screening by following national criteria
Use multiple computer systems, NBSS, CRIS, BS Select, Evolve and PACS to answer queries.
