Summary


We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join us as Administrative Officer – Innovation.


You will be a key member of our small and friendly team. The role will be varied, supporting a number of innovative programmes that impacts many different teams and department across ESNEFT.

You will be a well-organised, competent and efficient administrator with advanced IT and keyboard skills. An excellent communicator and a strong team-player, you will be a keen multi-tasker, who enjoys working across a diverse range of projects, communicating with both internal staff and external partners.

You will be able to bring your strong organisational and administrative skills to provide essential administration support to the Clinical Leads for the following programmes of work AI, robotic surgery and genomics.
You will have a very positive, ‘can do’ attitude and be able to prioritise, plan and organise your time efficiently and effectively.

No two days will be quite the same in this varied and flexible role. If you are as comfortable spending a day with the team as you are working independently and confidently with new people, this could be the job for you.
• Deal with external and internal queries. This may include providing complex or sensitive non clinical information or advice to patients or relatives, who may be anxious or have cultural or language difficulties in understanding.
• Maintains working relationships within own and other departments to facilitate an effective service
• Use judgement to deal with a range of routine and non-routine problems that may arise, and only exceptionally refer very complex issues to the appropriate person.
• Responsible for developing, maintaining efficient electronic and manual filing systems.
• Responsible for the maintenance of accurate data on hospital systems as appropriate, and creating reports as requested.
