Summary


The Clinical Support Officer role will provide essential non-clinical support with patient related administration and other tasks to enable clinicians within the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams to be free to provide clinical care.

This post will be based in the Physiotherapy Department at Colchester Hospital.

This is a full time post but job share would be considered.



Clinical Support officers will be an integral part of the Therapy team, managing non-clinical administration and a clinical role which may include:
• Submitting Loan Equipment forms and management of equipment bank stock.
• Stock control of equipment and consumables used in the department.
• Management of the Referrals system – Ordercoms.
• Booking of clinic appointments and manging clinic outcomes.
• Patient Phone calls.
• Management of all Hydrotherapy Admin including testing of the Hydrotherapy Pool water.

They will provide direct administration support to the clinical team including ordering, maintaining stock and other general administrative tasks including photocopying, printing.
