Summary

Are you looking to make a difference? You don’t have to be a doctor to transform lives…

At Via, we care about helping people overcome substance misuse and we feel that employment goes hand in hand with recovery. Our award-winning IPS Into Work teams support people to find meaningful employment that aligns with their ambitions so that they have a platform to build a brighter future.

Do you want to do something meaningful and help others? If the answer is yes, this could be the perfect job for you!

We are seeking a dynamic, caring and committed individual to join our IPS Into Work team and provide a holistic employment support service to Surrey residents.

The role is extremely rewarding, and you can make a lasting positive impact! A normal week would involve:

• Working closely with service users to provide a personalised employment service supporting them achieve their dreams.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including recovery practitioners, nurses, support workers and community organisations to promote and encourage referrals.
• Engaging employers to develop partnerships.

If this role intrigues you - please apply! We require a passion to help others and a desire to contribute back to the community. Successful candidates will be given training to support adaptation to new role.

The Service
Individual Placement and Support (IPS) is an evidence-based employment support model that helps individuals with a background in mental health and/or substance misuse work towards their employment goals through personalised support that aligns with their wellbeing.

Here are a few quotes from service users that have transformed their lives through our help:

“I had been drifting and my confidence had sunk… IPS helped change my life”

“I got the help that I was looking for… I found work after 17 years of being unemployed”

Location
You will work in Surrey in i-access, Laurel House, Farnham Rd, Guildford, GU2 7LX and be assigned an area with a willingness to cover other sites across Surrey as required. There will also be remote working, and working in the communities. All reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed, and having a car will be advantageous.

For an informal chat about the role please contact Rebecca Odedra, Head of Reintegration via rebecca.odedra@viaorg.uk

The deadline for applications is Sunday 16 June at midnight, however we are reviewing applications on a rolling basis and encourage interested applicants to apply as soon as possible. We will inform shortlisted candidates of the next steps in the process.
