The Best Connection are currently recruiting General Security Officers to work at Leeds Bradford Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the fastest-growing regional airports in the UK, who are committed to employing high-quality, ambitious people, with full training provided!
Pay: £11.60ph (£24,192.96pa) Overtime Pay: £17.40ph (after 40 hours) Hours: 03:00 to 13:30 OR 23:00 to 09:30 Shift: 4 On / 4 Off Location: Leeds Bradford Airport Duration: Ongoing, Temp to Perm Opportunities Amazing Employee Benefits and Discounts! Free Airport Parking FULL TRAINING PROVIDED Role of a General Security Officer (once fully trained):
To carry out full and effective searches of baggage and airport supplies To carry out full and effective searches of people To carry out full and effective searches of vehicles Undertake patrols of the airport terminal & grounds To control access into restricted areas of the Airport Check identification or travel documents for all passengers, staff and airport users requiring access to restricted areas Deal with on-site security incidents with the team Operate the x-ray equipment to screen all luggage for both the cabin and hold including other items being carried into restricted areas Provide excellent customer service to all passengers travelling through the airport Please note: Due to the nature of our business, we are regulated by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), therefore it is compulsory for all applicants to provide or be willing to obtain the following:
Be willing to apply for a Criminal Record Check (Paid for by us!) Have a full 5-year checkable history (Obtained for you by us!) Have resided in the UK for the past 5 years Be able to provide a full 5-year address history Have an in date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc) Be willing to attend Aviation Security Training Courses (Provided by Leeds Bradford Airport Have a Full UK Driving Licence (desirable) Benefits of working for The Best Connection as a General Security Officer:
