Are you an experienced manager with a passion for people? Do you have proven experience in developing staff teams and implementing change? Do you have experience in working with vulnerable people?
We are looking for a Service Manager to lead two staff teams in our supported housing services in Milton Keynes. While the successful applicant will have practical experience in change management, they will also be enthusiastic, a good communicator, passionate and positive.
Job Summary: The post covers two services for people experiencing homelessness – Fishermead Centre a 20 bedded Supported housing unit for people experiencing Homelessness and Springfield House, supported accommodation young parents and their children
Key Responsibilities: This role is vital to the success of the projects providing leadership and inspiration to the staff and encouraging an enabling environment, leading in psychologically informed practice within the values of The Salvation Army. The role requires liaison with the Local Authority Commissioners; as well as other agencies.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:

NVQ4 or equivalent in a related field;
Proven experience of managing teams;
Excellent communication skills;
Knowledge of health and safety;
Understanding of funding in supported housing;
Ability to build positive partnerships.

This role has an “occupational requirement” that the successful candidate must be a practising and committed Christian
