Summary
• To provide operational and strategic, management and leadership to theNeurological Conditions Services which comprises of the Neuro Rehab Service (NRS),Neuro Clinical Specialist Team (NCST) and the Early Stroke Rehab Team (ESRT)
• Toensuretheexcellentrunningoftheservice
• Todisplaygoodworkingknowledgeofclinicalstandardsandpracticeswith particular regard to neurological conditions
• Toensurethepatientexperienceiscentraltoservicedevelopmentsandactivities
• Toapplyworkingknowledgeofneurorehabilitationpracticesand ensureservice department aims for the highest standards
• Toensurepatientpathwaysfromreferral todischargeareefficientaccordingto demand and capacity challenges
• Toimplementandevaluateauditstoensurethevalidityandreliabilityofprocesses
• ToensuretheservicespracticeinaccordancewithCQC,aimingtoachievethe highest standards
• Todeliver effectivestrategiestoimproveperformanceacrossa rangeofmeasures
• Leadandparticipateinarangeofstaffanddivisionalmeetings
• To contribute a key leading role on interagency/multi-disciplinary team workingTousespecialistknowledgetoinformservice/policydevelopmentsasappropriate
• To promote a high level of clinical effectiveness by use of evidence-based practice and outcome measures
• To demonstrate advanced skills in dealing with complex issues to generate appropriate strategies for caseload and workload management of individuals and teams
