Join us at an outstanding Special Needs Primary School in Barnet (NW7) starting September 2024! We're on the lookout for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our passionate team on a full-time basis until July 2025.

Job Description
This SEN teaching assistant role will involve supporting primary aged pupils with moderate learning difficulties and complex needs; the majority of pupils have autistic spectrum conditions and associated behaviour, learning and communication difficulties. Previous experience working with SEND is required.

The ideal special needs teaching assistant will be a nurturing and energetic person who is open to providing personal care. Support workers who would like to transition into working within education are welcome to apply. Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.

To be considered for this role you will need:
• Experience working with children – in particular children with Autism, SLD Or Complex Needs
• Behaviour Management skills
• Be willing to provide personal care.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference
