Balfour Hospitality is a unique, independently owned pub and boutique hotel company, with our award-winning Balfour winery, in Kent at our heart. We currently have 11 fantastic food and drink led sites across London, The Cotswold's and the South East, all serving freshly prepared food every day, local and seasonal where possible with an emphasis on superb ingredients and great cooking. We focus our attention on making sure we offer our local communities the very best environment to spend their time in, from exceptional food and drink, superb beers and wines, great coffee to the very best service, always with a friendly smile and in a warm and welcoming environment.
We are looking for an experienced leader to work within our senior management and oversee the operations of all our sites and drive financial performances overseeing the full P&L and reporting into the Operations Director.
A little about you:
Not only do you have multi-site experience you have an exceptional eye for standards and have the entrepreneurial drive to take our Balfour pubs to the next level and ensure they are market leaders.
You’ll be super organised, have sound judgement and excel at multi-tasking. The role is varied and involves travelling across our sites so no day is the same. You‘ll need a broad knowledge of health and safety, HR, property and of course be a proactive problem solver.
You’ll have heaps of enthusiasm, be great at motivating others and building commitment to implement changes which improve the business and be able to support your teams to manage margins, control costs and deliver healthy bottom line profits.
As an Operations Manager with us, you’ll have view across the entire business and being in a unique position to influence the direction of the company alongside the senior team.
A proven track record of progression in your career from single site to multi-site operator is essential
Experience with hotels / boutique hotels and country Inns.
Ideally based in Kent, the role will involve driving between our sites throughout Kent, East Sussex, London and The Cotswolds.
