If the answer is yes to the above, then look no further and come and join the motivated and enthusiastic nursing team in the Combined Triage Assessment Unit (CTAU).

CTAU provides urgent care to patients known to Haematology and Oncology who are experiencing side effects from their condition, or their anti cancer treatment.

CTAU can often have up to 25 patients a day in our small 9 chair/bedded unit. With a 77% admission avoidance rate we aim to treat and discharge our patients. For those who are acutely unwell, we admit to one of our 3 cancer wards.

Patients usually come through to CTAU either via the triage line, radiotherapy, specialist clinics or The Combined Day Unit.
