Prospero Teaching is looking for an enthusiastic Food and Nutrition teacher to work in a secondary school located in Enfield on a temporary to permanent basis starting September 2024! The Ofsted "Good" school is a mixed all through school that wear uniforms.
This school is seeking a Food and Nutrition teacher who is able to inspire Key stage 3 and 4 students. This is an Ofsted Good all boys secondary school. There is parking on site and large grounds.
Food and Nutrition teacher contract / position details
- Location: Enfield, London
- Position: Food and Nutrition Teacher
- Type of work: Food and Nutrition teaching, marking, assessment where applicable
- Science teaching job start date: September 2024
- Contract type: temporary to Permanent post
- Minimum rate of pay: £175-245 a day
- Hour: 8 am-4pm (term time only)
Food and Nutrition Teacher Experience, Training and Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher of Food and Nutrition teacher
- You will need to have taught in Secondary Schools either in a permanent or supply basis
- NQT'S welcome to apply
- Overseas trained Food and Nutrition welcome to apply
- You will be required to commit to a full-time Teacher of Food and Nutrition teaching timetable
- Joining a well-resourced Science dept where team teaching and support is given
- You will be required to plan engaging stimulating Teacher of Food and Nutrition lessons and using the variety of technology the school have to deliver these Science lessons
- Hold strong communication skills
- Ability to engage with students and build rapport
